The barrier could be that this person may have a mental problem such as depression or anxiety this would affect them as they might not have the confidence to go out and exercise. Another barrier would be health problems, a person may be overweight and therefore might not be comfortable exercising in-front of other people as they’re self conscious and are afraid of what people might think or say. Some people may also be disabled which would effect them at the gym on things such as the treadmills etc. To overcome this people may find a personal trainer so that they’re training in private or just use the weights at the gym instead of running machines and bikes.
